About Kesha

Mrs. Kesha M. Gibson a daughter of the Kingdom of God and Minister of the Gospel is a woman who loves her family. She is happily married to Mr. Darwesh K. Gibson and to their union, they have been blessed with their son, Sewrád H. Gibson, who is their miracle.

Anointed with several Gifts, Kesha finds herself operating in the gifts of Helps/Service, Exhortation, Teaching and Leadership. Her hope is that her work with women and youth will be a catalyst to set others free from the chains that hold them bound.

Kesha is the founder of I Am That Woman and Pamper-Me-Poetry also known as P.M.P. These events help her stay active within her community and in her hobbies of singing, dancing, reading, attending plays and various events. She believes there is no specific venue type for hosting these events. Mrs. Gibson's events are not only fun and enjoyable, but they are educational, informative and equipping. Her, I Am That Woman Events are centered around educating and equipping women and young girls on the impact women have in society and the lives of those within our nation and abroad.

Born to her parents, Mr. Franklin D. Postell and the Late Mrs. Ida Mae Postell, in the Rural Town of Manning, South Carolina and reared in the Historic Town of Summerton, SC known for Briggs v/s Elliott Case of 1950, to allow buses to pick up African American students and help end segregation; she still holds to her roots as a proud graduate of Historic Scott’s Branch High School. She continued her educational journey by attending several colleges and universities which led her to graduating with honors from Sacramento Theological Bible College and Seminary with her bachelor's degree in biblical studies. Mrs. Gibson also holds a master's degree in Christian Counseling and Chaplaincy from SOGC Bible College and Seminary, where she also received an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Humanities. Dr. Gibson was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. Obtaining her degree from STBCS was a giving step in God’s order and plan for Kesha’s life from an early age. Kesha grew up involved in ministry; from Sunday School Secretary to singing in the choir, ushering and a servant on the Pastor’s Aide committee. Following years of being a servant leader, this led to her Ordination and becoming a Licensed Minister of the Gospel.

Mrs. Gibson's education, work experience and ministry work has allowed her to serve as a volunteer for the families of Active-Duty Service Members stationed aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California.  She has also worked alongside several Pastors and Senior Pastors of small and mega ministries. She currently sits on the board of Encouraging the Heart, Woman to Woman Ministries, a Non-Profit Organization, and as a board member of I Believe Church, Columbia, SC.

Through life experiences, God has used this vessel to pin the words to her first book entitled “Conquering the Tools of Destruction – From Puppy Love to Real Love.” Listed under Author Kesha Postell. Kesha is currently working on additional literary works that are expected to be published soon.

Her love for God and the call on her life leads her to believe that she has been empowered to empower others and equip them for permanent change. She lives by her favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not evil and to give you an expected end”.

Kesha agrees with the lyrics “Life now is sweet, and my joy is complete ALL because I’m SAVED.”
